New Dawn Resorts, Ltd. has acquired a 50 year lease, with a 50 year option to develop 38 acres of beachfront property in the heart of the Capital City of Accra. In close cooperation with the Ghanaian government and private investment, New Dawn Resorts is planning a 275 room plus four-star hotel, boutique shopping mall, cinema complex, and world class conference center. The project will also include 125 serviced epartments for corporate, government, and individual use and 100 Up-market housing units comprised of of 3 to 5 bedrooms. And for the children, New Dawn will develop a family oriented Amusement Water Park on three acres. Harold D. Holder Sr. is a principal investor in New Dawn Resorts. Mr. Holder owns, through various entities, hotels and casinos in Nevada. Mr. Holder will be joined by independent investors and development companies with special interests and experience in various components of the development,
New Dawn Resorts is located between the OSU Presidential Castle and historic Independence Square, on the beach and in the center of the city, close to most major public and government facilities. The Ghana Tourist Board, Ministry of Tourism, and the Ministry for the Modernization of the Capital City, have all given New Dawn Resorts their endorsement and full support for this development.
